Hey there, I'm Po!
I've wanted to be an artist since I was 5.
I grew up getting cuts on my knees from running around in my dads garden picking raspberries, currants, cherries, grapes. I spent my time afterschool playing piano, learning Russian, and painting with my grandma. My grandpa's handmade lapidary setup was downstairs, with his gem collection right above on display. My mom supported my dreams in every way and let me cover my walls with color, texture, trinkets. I remember opening cabinets to find her old acrylic paintings and delicate macrame napkins.
Once my brother thought I could take a flight by myself, I traveled out west from where we lived in the Hudson Valley, and we would romp around every chance we could. He taught me how to rappel off our brick chimney and taught me to belay by tying my tiny body to a tree so I wouldn't fly up. He grew my love of being outside and empowered me to be strong, use power tools, start a business, chase my vision. We've canyoneered and big wall climbed in Zion, stepped over mossy ledges in the Adirondacks, and shimmied up Moab chimneys.

Chockstone Silver is a culmination of my life and experiences, an ode to my many hobbies, interests, and inspirations. I love creating beautiful things, especially ones that tell a story.
I have a background in environmental science, botanical illustrations, house renovations, biotech, and generally chasing the dopamine rush. I love to create in all sorts of mediums - stained glass, screenprint, tattoo; silver just has a particular magic about it. Each piece is hand-crafted, slow and steady, in my little studio in Colorado. I want to create art that makes you smile, makes you recall a memory, makes you feel badass.
Thanks for visiting, hope you stay a while:) Love always, Po
